What to do right after a crash

  1. Safety first. Turn on the hazard lights, put on a reflective vest, place a warning triangle. If anyone is injured — call 112.

  2. Photograph the scene: the position of the cars, the damage, road signs, both number plates.

  3. Fill in the agreed statement if there are no injuries and both drivers agree on what happened (you can also use the free LTAB OCTA app). If you cannot agree — call the road police.

  4. If the car cannot be driven — call us. We will come with the tow truck and, if you wish, take care of the repair and of agreeing the estimate with your insurer.

KASKO covers damage to your own car under the terms of your policy. In an OCTA case the at-fault driver’s insurer pays for the damage. Either way, we help with the estimate and the repair.
